Music
The music program at Grace includes the Chancel Choir, the Handbell Choir, and the Praise Team. Being part of the music program is a great way to connect with others and enjoy weekly fellowship. The Chancel Choir is open to all ages, and rehearses on Wednesday nights from Labor Day – Memorial Day. We sing a variety of musical styles from Classical to Traditional to Spirituals. This group sings in church twice a month, plus major festivals.
The Handbell Choir also rehearses on Wednesday nights and plays once a month
during worship. New members are always welcome! It is helpful to be able to read
music, but it is not a requirement. Anyone 6th grade or older is welcome.
The Praise Team is a select choir. We usually sing a cappella music, though not always. Good music reading skills are essential for the group. Rehearsals are Sunday mornings immediately following worship. This group sings once per month during the service.
