Sunday School

On Sundays, children can visit our Sunday School room and nursery to learn a bible lesson while doing a related craft, listening to music, and having a snack. Parents are welcome to join!

First Communion Class

Grace’s First Communion Class is open upon request to young children wishing to learn what communion is and what it means to partake in our holy meal at worship services.

Confirmation Class

Students in the 7th or 8th grade in Grace’s Confirmation Class study God’s word and what it means to be a Lutheran. Confirmands meet twice a month over the course of two school years, and they are confirmed in May.

Adult Forum

Adult Forum is Grace’s weekly adult discussion group that meets immediately following worship on Sunday mornings.  We study and converse about scripture, current events, theology, and practices relating to nurturing one's faith.

Bible Study

The Lunch Bunch Bible Study Group meets on Tuesdays from 12:15-1:45 from September through June. This is a place to ask questions, learn, and grow in faith together. Come join this lively group and bring a bagged lunch!

Why is the Scripture so important?

According to the Constitution of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, we believe that the Scriptures are “the inspired Word of God and the authoritative source and norm of its proclamation, faith, and life." This doesn’t mean that the Bible is the only place where truth is found, but what we learn about God and God's world gains new clarity when viewed in the light of Scripture.
