Friendship Bread - Members of Grace bake loaves of bread to be given to first time visitors to Grace as a ministry of welcome.
Bulletin Boards - The main bulletin board in the Narthex serves as a major area of communication at Grace. Up-coming events, sign-up sheets for participation, and community information provide news at a glance for Grace’s active members. The hallway and Fellowship Hall bulletin boards show the faces and activities of Grace and help introduce the many missions of Grace to visitors.
Greeters - An intentional ministry of welcome for all who come to worship. Members are assigned a Sunday, asked to arrive early and greet people at the door.
Narthex Ministers - Members of Grace who extend a special welcome to visitors attending a worship service, acquaint them with the building, provide worship and Sunday School information and, in general, help them feel at home.
New Member Sundays - Whenever people are received as new members, the congregation welcomes them by wearing names tags to help everyone learn names, and by having a coffee hour reception in their honor.
Presenter Family - Families of Grace are encouraged to provide bread and wine for communion and to present the elements during the Offertory if they desire. The elements are brought to the church in advance for Altar Guild preparation
