Groundbreaking for the new addition was held in October 1990, beginning a new decade of growth of and for the congregation. Grace became part of the newly formed Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, joining with Lutheran Congregations all over the country. Grace had additional reason to celebrate with the opening of the new addition, which was dedication in April 1991. Computers, other ‘hi-tech’ equipment and a part-time secretary were added in 1992 as Grace continued to grow. In June 1995, the congregation purchased a Rieger pipe organ. The early mission church had evolved in to a solid, growing, involved congregation.  

  The congregation of Grace celebrated its 30^th anniversary in 1997, and Pastor Wilfred announced a new call for him in Massachusetts.

   In February of 1998 the Congregation called and then welcomed Pastor Carol Peterson and her family. With Pastor Peterson’s leadership, the dedicated congregation of Grace continues in Christ’s ministry in the Mendham area and beyond, well positioned to go forward in the
21^st century to spread the good news.
