Adult Education - A variety of Sunday morning and weekday sessions to help adult members grow in faith.
Adult Forum - Meets during the Sunday School hour in the downstairs Charis Room. Pastor and lay church members lead discussions on a variety of topics such as "Listening for God", topics in higher education, religion in history, and Advent. Special guest speakers are invited periodically.
Confirmation - An intensive educational ministry with Junior High age youth, preparing them to affirm their baptism and assume greater responsibility in the life of the church. Confirmation is a full two year program and since each child must begin at the start of the program, he or she will enter confirmation in either 7th or 8th grade.
First Communion - We hold celebrations of first communion at least once a year. Instruction is offered, prior to the event, for both parents and children.
Heifer Project International - Recipient of all Grace Sunday School offerings. Heifer Project helps fight world hunger by providing livestock animals to needy families and villages to both supply food and extra income. In recent years, our children have sent cows, water buffalo, pigs, goats, sheep, chicks, bees and fish to nations around the globe.
High School Forum - Sunday School class for high school age young people, meeting in the spacious privacy of the downstairs storage room for discussion of topics and issues related to teens and faith.
Library - Located downstairs at the church. Filled with books and videos available for independent loan. Self-serve: fill out card and leave in appropriate box.
Spiritual Growth Groups - Small groups, committed to deepening faith and developing the disciplines of the Christian life. Meeting weekly for Bible Study, prayer and mutual support, members of these groups are led through the classic disciplines of Christian spirituality. New groups are formed as needed and at times convenient to those who wish to participate.
Sunday School - Classes for children age 3 through grade 7 meet from 10:45-11:45 AM most Sundays during the school year. Adult Forum classes are also held. Younger children learn basic bible stories and make crafts. Older children will read from the bible and have discussions in class to relate the bible to their life today. Older children will also do special service projects from time to time. A special program is held during worship on the Sunday before Christmas, and in the Fellowship Hall after worship on Palm Sunday.
Sunday School Offering Envelopes - Given to every child in the Grace Sunday School as an early lesson in the blessings and discipline of Christian giving. Each week, the offering is received at the Sunday School Opening Worship and all gifts received are given to the Heifer Project International.
Sunday School Snacks - A simple, healthy snack is provided to all the children at the start of Sunday School. All Sunday School families are assigned a Sunday to bring and serve the snack.
Sunday School Teachers - Volunteers recruited to serve on a team of 1-2 teachers per grade level. Classes are offered for ages Pre-K/K, Grades 1-2, Grades 3-5, and Grades 5-6. Curriculum provided.
Vacation Bible School - Week of songs, lessons and activities for the children of the community. Sponsored by Mendham Interchurch Adult volunteers and teachers recruited in the spring.
